Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering of requirements for web applications and software APIs, translating them into comprehensive functional specifications.
- Conduct use case, conceptual, and logical data modeling, as well as process and data flow mapping.
- Apply re-engineering concepts to identify improvements and cost-effective service delivery alternatives.
- Prepare business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies to support program foundations.
- Monitor project progress, manage sprints, and resolve issues while providing regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions with technical teams and business partners to define business rules and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business and data requirements into technical specifications suitable for cloud-based and integrated environments.
- Ensure all processes and documentation align with information management principles, privacy policies, and legislative requirements.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience eliciting requirements for both Software APIs (integration processes) and Web Applications (user interfaces).
- 5+ years of experience applying human-centered design processes and user experience (UX) principles.
- 5+ years of experience with API message standardization (e.g., HL7-FHIR).
- 5+ years of experience in Agile project management, including sprint management and process documentation.
- Proven experience working within large-scale public environments and familiarity with associated information systems and privacy acts.
- Strong familiarity with cloud tools and object-oriented methodologies.
- College/University undergraduate degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Maximum of 5 (five) pages.
