functional specifications into an unambiguous, testable, and outcome-based requirements baseline. Operating at the core intersection of identity engineering and enterprise system integration, you will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to map intricate security workflows, manage data specifications, and ensure absolute alignment across platform architectures.
Location: Toronto, ON (Up to 5 days onsite, subject to hiring manager's discretion)
Duration: 11-month contract.
Advantages
High-Demand Specialization: Deepen your technical market value by steering complex, modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) and digital identity infrastructure designs.
End-to-End Logic Ownership: Command full analytical control over enterprise system blueprints—translating abstract workflows into precise, production-ready specifications.
Elite Agile Maturity: Drive highly mature Agile practices, crafting advanced user stories and behavior-driven criteria inside an integrated DevOps framework.
Collaborative Technical Exposure: Act as the central technical advisor aligning global solution integrators, security architects, and delivery squads.
Responsibilities
Requirements & User Story Analysis: Independently analyze, clarify, and decompose high-complexity functional workflows, data definitions, system triggers, decision matrices, and edge-case exceptions.
Acceptance Criteria Engineering: Formulate precise, testable, and actionable outcome-based acceptance criteria utilizing BDD/Gherkin, scenario-based, or rule-based formats to establish a reliable baseline for architects, testers, and vendor teams.
Identity & Access Mapping: Perform deep research and analysis to resolve requirements gaps pertaining to Identity and Access Management (IAM), digital identity frameworks, user onboarding pipelines, and system authentication/authorization mechanics.
Data Requirements Management: Develop and manage detailed backend data requirements, attribute definitions, and validation schemas mapped directly to a unified enterprise data dictionary.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate directly with architects, product owners, QA test engineers, and system integrators to resolve ambiguities, map project dependencies, and drive structural alignment.
Agile Backlog Governance: Conduct continuous backlog refinement, write high-quality user stories, and manage workflow artifacts within engineering platforms to ensure all deliverables meet strict Definitions of Ready (DoR) and Done (DoD).
Traceability & Compliance Tracking: Build and maintain comprehensive end-to-end traceability matrices linking acceptance criteria, core business logic, regulatory standards, and finalized system designs.
Stakeholder Facilitation: Plan and lead collaborative requirement clarification workshops, design walkthroughs, and material reviews with diverse multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
Core Business Analysis Seniority: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive professional experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years explicitly serving in a Senior BA capacity supporting large-scale digital software, data integration, or identity-focused enterprise programs.
IAM & Identity Domain Expertise: Proven technical experience working with digital identity, access management, authentication, authorization models, or complex ecosystem interoperability domains.
Advanced Agile Requirements Engineering: Demonstrated mastery in writing detailed, testable user stories and robust acceptance criteria for complex system integrations, multi-system workflows, and IAM solutions.
Data Analysis & Modeling Skills: Strong practical experience developing, managing, and documenting granular data requirements, logical schema dependencies, and business rules.
Agile Toolchain Proficiency: Direct, hands-on professional experience utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) or matching enterprise utilities for system item logging, backlog refinement, and configuration documentation.
Requirements Deconstruction Acumen: Proven ability to independently dissect high-complexity functional criteria, identify systemic gaps through structured analysis, and create clean traceability maps.
Communication & Synthesis Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, with a verified history of translating dense technical security parameters into unambiguous documentation suitable for technical integrators and business leads.

Prior professional business analysis experience operating within multi-stakeholder public sector frameworks or highly regulated digital healthcare ecosystems.
