Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
Analyze and document business processes, data flows, and system interactions.
Develop clear and concise functional and non-functional specifications.
Support project managers in planning, executing, and closing IT projects.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders and project teams.
Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, specifically within the post-secondary and/or education sector, with a strong background in IT business analysis.
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
CBAP/CCBA and/or project management training (e.g., PMI-PBA or IIBA-CBAP certification).
Experience working on Security and Infrastructure specific projects, ideally with Azure.
Strong requirements gathering skills, including conducting workshops.
Strong business process skills, with an emphasis on business process re-engineering and experience with process mapping.
Experience with gap analysis, including creating and maintaining documentation such as current state, future state, and gap analysis documentation.
Experience working on projects involving application/package selection.
