Responsibilities
Automation Platform Migration: Evaluate source-control automation workflows and execute seamless migration strategies to HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP).
Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management: Develop, optimize, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for infrastructure provisioning and Day 2 operations.
CI/CD Pipeline & Version Control: Build and optimize pipeline workflows for automated testing, security scanning, and deployment, maintaining enterprise repository branching strategies, pull request controls, and access governance.
Service Management Integration: Integrate automation platforms with enterprise IT service management systems (such as ServiceNow APIs and workflows) to enable automated, approved one-click operational requests.
Security & Compliance Governance: Implement secrets management, API integrations, approval gates, and audit controls across all automated deployment pipelines.
Operational Readiness & Knowledge Transfer: Perform end-to-end testing, troubleshoot pipeline failures, author operational documentation, and deliver technical knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Qualifications
HCP & Terraform Depth: 5+ years of strong, hands-on experience developing with HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) and Terraform (Strictly Required).
Ansible Automation Mastery: 5+ years of advanced experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, custom inventories, and complex automation workflows (Strictly Required).
Source Control Governance: 5+ years of experience managing enterprise GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and source-control standards (Strictly Required).
IaC & Security Controls: 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline creation, API integrations, secrets management, and enterprise security controls (Strictly Required).
GitHub Actions & Pipeline Engineering: Proven experience building, testing, and supporting automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
Cloud & Operations Acumen: Practical experience designing infrastructure deployments for cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred) and Day 2 operations.
Nice to Have:
Experience integrating ServiceNow (APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer) with HCP, Ansible, or GitHub Actions for catalog requests and automated approvals.
