Responsibilities
Conceptualize, write, edit, and optimize engaging cross-channel content experiences across websites, applications, and interactive digital tools.
Apply user-centered design principles and WCAG/accessibility standards to ensure all written content meets customer needs and regulatory compliance.
Lead and participate in ideation sessions, research syntheses, and design thinking workshops to solve complex experience challenges.
Partner closely with Product Owners, Experience Design Leads, Engineers, and Regulatory/Control Partners to align messaging with business goals and legal standards.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in managing project timelines, stakeholder communications, and confidential materials across end-to-end design lifecycles.
Serve as a subject matter expert on plain language standards and content strategy, offering guidance across cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in digital, conversational, or content design roles.
Core Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in plain language writing, content editing, WCAG accessibility standards, and navigating regulatory or control approval processes.
Education & Background: Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience. A background in a design-related discipline (such as visual design, user-centered design, human-computer interaction, human factors, or design strategy) or financial/public-facing digital platforms is a strong advantage.
Key Skills: Exceptionally organized, self-motivated, and accountable, with a deep commitment to modern experience design and collaborative problem-solving.
