Responsibilities
•Prepare payroll journal entries and accruals for employee-related expenses
•Maintain and analyze general ledger (GL) accounts and ensure timely reconciliation
•Conduct variance analysis for payroll-related accounts and provide reporting commentary
•Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are clear, accurate, and up-to-date
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and integration projects
•Act as a subject matter expert for Corporate Accounting in cross-departmental initiatives
•Mentor new team members and support knowledge sharing within the team
•Contribute to special projects and identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Accounting; CPA designation preferred
•5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, including GL, accruals, and reconciliations
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
•Experience working with SAP is required
•Solid understanding of payroll accounting and processes is considered a strong asset
•Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
