Responsibilities
• Develop the overall data architecture plan, design, strategy, and data models for large-scale enterprise databases.
• Provision, set up, and manage the day-to-day operations of databases, including monitoring, tuning, and backups.
• Ensure the maintenance, performance, optimization, security, and high availability of all data systems.
• Perform data analytics to assess impacts, identify risks, and recommend improvements to the user experience.
• Guide and collaborate with project teams on the implementation of platforms, products, and services.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to technical teams on data-related deliverables and best practices.
• Contribute to the long-term vision for architectural platforms, products, and services.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
• 8+ years of experience as a data architect, software architect, or senior data engineer on cross-functional teams.
• 8+ years of experience designing, planning, and implementing enterprise solution databases in an environment of significant size and complexity.
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft technology stack (7+ years) and cloud services, particularly Azure (2+ years).
• Proven expertise in enterprise architecture principles, data modeling, data governance, and database optimization.
