Responsibilities
• Define and document the end to end data architecture including requirements, design principles, and integration diagrams.
• Lead the design of schemas, tables, and security roles to ensure data access patterns meet business needs.
• Manage the data migration strategy by defining extraction, cleansing, and validation rules to ensure data integrity.
• Architect integrations between the new solution and external platforms such as legacy systems and document repositories.
• Oversee the creation of a modern data lakehouse using Azure Data Lake Storage and Microsoft Fabric.
• Ensure all data designs comply with privacy, records management, and information lifecycle policies.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to project teams and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
• At least 7 years of experience as a Data Architect designing enterprise data architectures for complex cloud-based projects.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and the broader Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
• Proven track record in leading detailed data mapping and migration activities for large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual and logical data models that align with enterprise data policies.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting complex data concepts to non-technical leadership and stakeholders.
