Our client is looking for a Senior Data Architect/Modeller for a 9 month contract in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities
• Develops and implements the data architecture for application development in a complex and distributed environment, including the determination of the flow and distribution of data, the location of databases, and data access methods.
• Provides a standard common business vocabulary, expresses strategic data requirements, outlines high level integrated designs to meet these requirements, and aligns with the enterprise strategy and related business architecture.
Qualifications
Must haves:
Data architecture/data modeler skills will build upon a Conceptual Data Model which is technology-and application-independent and will assist with the following tasks/deliverables:
• Continue ‘data prototyping’ to proof CDM recommendation
• Develop a fully Attributed Conceptual Data Model (CDM) or Logical Data Model depending on IT solution strategy that is approved.
• Support MECP in developing their Data Migration strategy/plan
• Assist with Alpha prototyping and/or proofs-of-concept
• Support development of enterprise architecture artefacts for submission to Architecture Review Board for Architecture Gate Point 0 (AGP0) during summer 2025 and then AGP1 during fall/winter
