Responsibilities
• Perform system administration and support for Cloudera Data Platform, Azure, and Snowflake environments.
• Configure and tune platforms for optimal performance, cost management, security, and compliance.
• Implement and maintain data security policies, including access control and privacy adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and reliability of data systems.
• Manage and administer the underlying Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems.
• Develop technical designs, performance tuning strategies, and operational documentation.
• Support the deployment of sophisticated analytics, AI, and machine learning programs.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloudera Data Platform administration and support.
• 5+ years of deep technical experience with the Hadoop/Spark ecosystem, including cluster management.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) system administration, configuration, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience with security and identity management, including Kerberos, Active Directory, and LDAP.
• Demonstrated experience working in a complex, multi-team IT environment.
