This role requires deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), advanced automation, and support for critical multi-platform enterprise systems. Responsibilities
The Senior DevOPS/Cloud Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for build automation and Ansible/Packer for creating immutable infrastructure, especially during mid-tier refresh initiatives in Azure Cloud.
- Configuring, customizing, upgrading, and patching WebLogic V12, WebSphere V9, and Informatica V10. Providing expertise in administrating and developing Oracle Siebel, UCM, OID, and other CRM technologies.
- Managing and supporting multi-platform environments, including RedHat Enterprise Linux V7+, UNIX Solaris V10, and Mainframe IMS Connect, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Designing and implementing clustering, Load Balancers, and Firewall configurations in both traditional and Azure Cloud environments.
- Implementing instances/applications performance tuning, storage/capacity management, DB migration/upgrade, and robust Backup/Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
- Practicing GitOps principles and utilizing Azure DevOps Pipelines and git (including branching/merging strategies like git-flow) for continuous integration and delivery.
- Providing high-skilled analysis and problem-solving, including 7/24/365 support for pre-production and production systems, and performing system monitoring in accordance with ITIL standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in systems, data communications, and telecommunication technology, including experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux V7+, UNIX Solaris V10, and Mainframe IMS Connect.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in WebLogic V12, WebSphere V9, and Informatica V10 configuration, customization, upgrading, and patching.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) with DevOps toolsets in Azure Cloud, including Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge and expertise in administrating and developing of Oracle Siebel, UCM, OID, and CRM technologies.
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and immutable infrastructure with Ansible/Packer.
- Strong experience with git (branching/merging strategies) and practicing GitOps.
- Highly skilled analysis and problem-solving skills for data recovery and troubleshooting in a multi-platform environment.

- Experience with technologies like J2EE, Java, Node.js, Azure Functions (Serverless), and Azure App Gateway.
- Working knowledge of Transportation Safety architecture, applications, databases, and systems.
- Experience supporting enterprise business and infrastructure projects and using ITIL standards for Incident and Change Management.
