Our client is currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect for a 6-month contract based in Toronto. This hybrid role will place you at the center of strategic architectural initiatives, working with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver critical enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities
- Assess City’s existing technology landscape and architecture from application, data and infrastructure domains.
- Develop City’s target architecture covering application, data and infrastructure, and roadmap(s).
- Ensure IT strategy aligns with business goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder management including communicating complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way, and consensus building.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of architecture experience in a leadership capacity, gained in a complex technological environment, paired with post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Math (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience leading major enterprise-wide architectural initiatives, such as capability modeling, road mapping etc.
- Experience in technology strategy, enterprise-level architecture planning, development and implementation.
- Experience with design and implementation of business solutions.
- Strong background and understanding of IT infrastructure, data, and systems.
- The ability to understand business needs, processes, and goals for aligning IT with business objectives.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills are needed to assess business needs, identify potential solutions, and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes.
