Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, notes, schedules, and MD&A in compliance with IFRS, TSX listing requirements, and Canadian securities regulations. You will also coordinate all external financial reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely filing of required documents. Acting as the primary contact with auditors, performing quarterly reviews and the annual audit, and managing information requests and resolving audit issues promptly.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you posses a min of 5 years of experience in external reporting or technical accounting at a public company, preferably TSX-listed, or equivalent experience with IFRS-reporting clients at a Big 4 firm. You also have a strong knowledge of IFRS and proven ability to prepare technical accounting papers. You are highly (advanced ) proficient in Microsoft Excel and have strong analytical, time-management, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
