We’re currently partnering with a well-established Tier 1 automotive manufacturer seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an on-site role with a strong focus on operational support, continuous improvement, and standard costing within a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Location: On-site, full-time (Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Support the Plant Controller and Production teams in driving financial performance and operational controls
- Analyze standard costs, BOMs, routings, labour rates, and material consumption variances (PPV, scrap, cycle counts)
- Conduct gross margin, labour variance, and inventory reconciliations
- Provide insights into risks/opportunities and communicate findings with plant leadership
- Assist with budget and forecasting cycles, including financial modelling and analysis
- Evaluate engineering changes and open commercial issues from a cost/benefit perspective
- Contribute to internal controls, inventory accuracy, and system/data improvements
- Participate in key month-end processes and ad hoc initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in standard costing and manufacturing finance
- SAP and Excel capabilities (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Understanding of ERP systems, budgeting cycles, and financial reporting
- Communicates effectively across departments and collaborates with cross-functional teams
- Takes initiative, listens actively, and brings a supportive, team-first mindset
- Holds a CPA designation (or equivalent) and a related university degree, or pursuing
- Has a proactive, humble approach with the desire to learn and grow
