Responsibilities
- System Sustainment: Monitor the health and performance of the technology stack; manage starting/stopping, backing up, and recovering service components (OIM, PKI, and secure environments).
- Maintenance & Security: Apply patches, renew certificates and licenses, and tune service components to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
- Incident & Problem Management: Act as a Tier-2/Tier-3 SME to triage, analyze, and resolve complex incidents. Participate in 24x7 on-call support for production environments.
- Client Integration: Analyze client technical requirements and design integration solutions; develop utilities, scripts, and applets to automate and facilitate the onboarding of client applications.
- Change Assessment: Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on secure environments, collaborating with service providers and clients to ensure stability.
- Tooling & Automation: Develop requirements for support tools and deploy programmatic constructs (scripts, queries, views) to improve the team's support posture.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive procedures for maintenance, support, and integration approaches.
Qualifications
- Core Expertise: 10+ years of experience sustaining COTS-based IAM systems, with at least 4 years specifically focused on Oracle IAM Suite Plus (OIAM 12C preferred).
- Technical Breadth: 10+ years experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, OHS, Tomcat, IIS, Apache, WebSphere, and Oracle Database 19c.
- Methodology: 3+ years experience with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) and strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Change, Problem, and Release Management).
- Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of encryption and authentication technologies, including PKI, PMI, and SSL.
- Monitoring Tools: 2+ years of experience with Nagios or similar system monitoring tools (e.g., Big Brother).
- Quality Assurance: 10+ years in quality control and assurance for large-scale applications, including experience with automated testing tools like TFS.
- OS Mastery: Proficient in administering systems across Windows, Linux, Solaris, and AIX environments.
