As a senior project manager, you will bridge the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. Operating fully remotely from anywhere within Ontario, you will oversee end-to-end project lifecycles—developing strategic communication plans, conducting business analysis, managing privacy and security deliverables, and building collaborative partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups. This position demands a self-motivated project leader with strong political acuity, technical aptitude, and proven expertise in managing complex IT projects within tight deadlines.

Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions to interpret business needs into actionable technical specifications.
Establish comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource estimations, risk mitigation strategies, and status reports.
Manage privacy and security deliverables, ensuring project alignment with enterprise mandates and compliance standards.
Lead cross-functional Agile development teams, fostering an inclusive environment to align diverging stakeholder perspectives.
Produce data analytics, executive briefing materials, and visual dashboards to report progress and strategic insights to leadership.
Conduct industry research, evaluate emerging technology trends, and formulate recommendations for process and solution improvements.
Resolve complex project issues, manage dependencies, and negotiate collaborative solutions across internal and external partners.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Technical Project Leadership
Project Management Tenure: Minimum 10+ years of progressive hands-on experience as a Project Manager leading large-scale IT projects.
Methodology Mastery: Advanced knowledge of project management principles, task estimation, scheduling, resource planning, and Agile concepts.
Requirements & Workshop Facilitation: Proven experience leading client workshops, eliciting requirements, and translating business needs into technical designs.
Privacy & Security Governance: Direct experience managing privacy, security, and risk deliverables within IT implementation projects.
Project Tooling: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Planview, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365.
Preferred Assets
Public Sector Experience: Previous experience managing IT projects within government or broader public sector environments.
Strategic Change Management: Proven track record in organizational change management, issues management, and political acuity.
Soft Skills & Leadership Attributes
Executive Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate project vision, facilitate discussions, and influence stakeholders.
