Our client is looking for a Senior Information Architect for a 3 month contract in Guelph.
This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities
• Providing leadership, guidance, and support services to the project team and business subject matter experts related to the creation and management of all project-related models/artefacts/diagrams, documentation and plans; as well as facilitation of project tasks
• Being responsible for the update/development and validation of all required high level information architecture models/artefacts, documents and materials according to LRC Enterprise Architecture team’s guidance, industry best practices, GO-ITS standards and OPS guidelines using the appropriate version
• Leveraging existing business and information architecture models/artefacts, if available, including project architectures and the OMAFA’s existing architecture, as well as any other relevant materials to be aligned and integrated with, to develop/update the information architecture models/artefacts.
• Leverage OPS/cluster/ tools and model repository, if available and appropriate, e.g. PowerDesigner, Rational System Architect, as directed
• Arrange and facilitate validation sessions
• Develop/revise business requirements artefacts according to LRC cluster EA team’s guidance
• Participate in review and information sharing meetings, as required
• Support Agile Enterprise Architecture delivery during the project, if required.
• Participate in physical co-location with other architecture team members and, if required
• Arrange and facilitate Enterprise Architecture (EA) meetings
• Support the process of acquiring project cluster and corporate approvals if or as required
• Provide status updates to both the project team and EA unit
• Provide transfer of knowledge and project deliverables to both the project team, and the EA unit on an on-going basis
• Adhere to OPS GO-ITS Standards, specifically GO-ITS 56.0, GO-ITS 56.1, GO-ITS 56.3, and others, as required
• Revise architectures per action and/or conditions arising from LRC’s governance body and Corporate EA Governance review bodies; if or as required
• Utilize, reuse, and incorporate OPS Reference Architectures into the project architectures
• Ensure alignment with any other related and relevant business materials.
Qualifications
Must haves:
• Demonstrated experience in leading in-depth and complex information architecture reviews and assessments, development and/or support projects, to support new and changed enterprise priorities and initiatives, and client clusters’ and their clients’ information architecture and/or business needs
• Demonstrated experience in defining, identifying and describing information architectural requirements with clients, and obtaining I&IT management approval
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture to undertake the specified services and deliverables, including experience with integration of IA to other EA (Enterprise Architecture) domains, Agile Enterprise Architecture delivery and working with CASE, EA and BPMN modelling tools such as PowerDesigner
• 5+ years of experience

• OPS experience.
