Our client is looking for a Senior Information Architect for a 12 month contract in Toronto.
This is an onsite role.
Rate: 568.59-603.93

Responsibilities
• Designing Information Architecture (IA): Creating the plan for how information is structured, including the site structure, navigation, labeling, search functionality, and content flow of a website or application.2
• Site Map Creation: Developing a visual hierarchy or blueprint of how data is displayed and accessed throughout the site, balancing what the business wants to link and what the user expects to see.2
• Wireframing: Sketching key screens to depict links between various screens and show how the site functions in practice, which helps determine how a user might interact with the information.12
• Defining Hierarchies and Content Flow: Choosing how content is categorized and sequenced to ensure a logical and intuitive user journey
Qualifications
Must haves:
• Information Architecture
5+ years of experience in the development and implementation of applications and databases
Demonstrated experience in providing information architecture interpretation advice and expertise to other project and/or enterprise level I&IT project teams.
Demonstrated experience in delivering architectural artefacts as required by the project to successfully pass through the project review governance points.
Demonstrates previous leadership in complex application architecture reviews and assessments, development and/or support projects for enterprise initiatives.
· Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (Case) tools (i.e. PowerDesigner, Visio) and other software tools
· Experience in using AI for data analysis which blends traditional strengths with new AI-centric abilities:
o Prompt Engineering: Communicating effectively with AI tools to get desired analysis and insights.
Machine Learning Literacy: Understanding how ML models work (prediction, pattern recognition) and when to apply them.
Automation Mastery: Using AI to automate data collection, cleaning (ETL), and workflow building.
Generative AI for Analytics: Using AI to speed up tasks like summarization or initial data exploration
• Technical Skills
Experience in Modular and composable application architecture
Experience in Omni-channel delivery of services
Solid experience in cloud design and solution including infrastructure design with cloud subscription.
Solid experience in cloud native architecture including microservice architecture, RESTful API, API management.
Experience in Data ingestion informed by consumption requirements
Experience in Implementation and adoption of data mesh for storage
Experience in systems analysis and design in a large, integrated systems environments
Experience in the use of architecture design tools and cloud management tools such as Power Designer, DevOps, and Collaboration tools.
• Public Sector Experience
Experience with Public Sector enterprise architecture governance, committees and processes
Experience with Target State Architecture (TSA)
Experience with Public Sector GO-ITS standards.
Experience with Standards architecture deliverables and artefacts
• Soft Skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
