Responsibilities
âą Lead the configuration and rollout of the EIM platform (e.g., OpenText)
âą Conduct business analyses to define information management requirements (recordkeeping, access, privacy)
âą Develop and implement governance frameworks: classification schemes, metadata standards, document management rules, and retention schedules
âą Manage the full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
âą Collaborate with IT, business analysts, project managers, architects, and training teams to ensure cohesive delivery
âą Provide ongoing advisory on information management best practices and strategic alignment
âą Deliver training sessions and awareness initiatives to build organizational capability
âą Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, conducting compliance and privacy impact assessments
âą Participate in IM committees and cross-functional working groups
âą Create policies, procedures, and detailed documentation (e.g., training guides, audit reports)
âą Monitor, evaluate, and report performance metrics tied to IM maturity and adoption

Qualifications

Must Have:
âą 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise information management platforms (OpenText preferred)
âą Deep knowledge of business analysis in IM areas such as recordkeeping, access, privacy, and unstructured data
âą Proven experience leading and coordinating IM projects in complex environments
âą Hands-on experience developing classification schemes, metadata schemas, and retention policies
âą Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cross-team collaboration, and user training delivery
âą Familiarity with privacy and security classifications and how to apply them
âą Strong documentation, advisory, and knowledge transfer skills
âą Understanding of IM frameworks, policies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ARMA)
â Nice to Have:
đ Degree in Information Management, Library Science, IT, or a related field
đ Professional certifications such as CRM (Certified Records Manager)
đ Experience supporting public sector organizations or navigating government regulatory frameworks
