Our client is looking for a Specialized IT Consultant – Senior for a 6-month contract with the potential to extend by 40 business days. The role follows a hybrid model with up to 3 in-office days per month at Toronto location.

Responsibilities
• Design, build, and manage robust ETL pipelines using Informatica IICS
• Develop data integration solutions across Azure SQL, Oracle 19g, and Linux environments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL and production issues with detailed reporting
• Create and maintain shell scripts in Linux 8 for automation and system operations
• Implement version control best practices using Git
• Translate complex technical requirements into tested, working applications
• Provide incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions
• Collaborate with internal teams on all development and support activities
• Prepare documentation including Runbooks, LSTMs, Technical Specs, and ReadMe.md
• Deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams before contract completion
Qualifications
• 8–10 years’ hands-on experience in:
• Informatica IICS (Cloud ETL development & support)
• Oracle 19g – SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning
• Azure SQL Database
• Linux 8 – Shell scripting and system operations
• Git – Version control and collaborative development
🛠️Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Siebel), OBIEE, PowerCenter
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Perl
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Analytics, APIs, and data streaming
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of AODA compliance
