Responsibilities
• Lead the gathering, solicitation, and refinement of complex business requirements and use cases.
• Translate high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications for development and architecture teams.
• Evaluate existing services and workflows to recommend specific remediation or modernization opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops with clinical staff, leadership, and stakeholders to map out functional requirements.
• Support proof-of-concept initiatives and provide quality control oversight during production rollouts.
• Identify project risks and impediments while providing actionable recommendations to mitigate impacts.
• Develop technical documentation, including solution papers, test plans, and service definitions.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 6 years of experience identifying business requirements and proposing effectiveness improvements.
• At least 5 years of experience planning and conducting requirements workshops with operational or clinical leadership.
• Proven track record in the design and implementation of complex, multi-vendor IT solutions.
• Familiarity with health information frameworks, privacy regulations (such as HIA or FOIP), or EHR/EMR systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
