As a Senior Maximo Technical Analyst, you will bridge the gap between functional business specifications, complex system configurations, automation scripting, and enterprise integrations. Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will translate operational needs into technical designs, build automation scripts using Python/Jython, configure Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) pipelines, and deploy solutions across multi-tier environments. Responsibilities
Support business requirements workshops with subject matter experts to analyze operational needs and translate them into technical system configurations.
Configure and customize MAS Manage, Health, and Predict modules across core domains, including Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Assets, Locations, Inventory, and Procurement.
Implement and configure Asset Condition Management (ACM) components, including condition monitoring, meter groups, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) triggers.
Develop, test, and maintain server-side automation scripts utilizing Python or Jython to extend native platform capabilities.
Configure, manage, and optimize complex Maximo workflows, escalations, communication templates, cron tasks, security groups, and role-based access controls.
Design, build, and support enterprise system integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Web Services, and REST/OSLC APIs.
Execute technical data migration tasks, including data mapping, transformation scripts, validation routines, and data reconciliation across environments.
Perform unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and automated regression testing activities.
Manage configuration package migrations and environment refreshes across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture specifications, technical designs, deployment runbooks, and interface inventories.
Provide technical cutover execution, go-live support, defect triage, and post-implementation hypercare support.
Qualifications
Core Technical & Maximo Architecture Requirements
Maximo Technical Tenure: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Maximo Technical Analyst or Architect working with IBM Maximo 7.6.1+, including direct experience delivering MAS 8.x/9.x environments.
Core Application Configuration: Advanced expertise configuring Maximo applications, domains, workflows, escalations, communication templates, cron tasks, and security controls.
Automation Scripting: Hands-on experience developing custom automation scripts using Python or Jython.
Integration Engineering: Deep proficiency with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST APIs, OSLC endpoints, and web service protocols.
Environment & Release Management: Demonstrated experience managing configuration promotions and system deployments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production tiers.
Data Migration & QA: Proven experience executing data mapping, data validation, unit testing, and technical defect resolution.
