Responsibilities
• Operational Leadership: Assist the Team Lead in implementing service delivery goals and managing resource/financial planning.
• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and optimize wired/wireless networks, WAN infrastructure, and co-location data center facilities.
• Systems Maintenance: Provision and update network core systems, including firmware, security patches, and hot fixes.
• Technical Support: Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and coordinate issue resolution for core networks and external stakeholders.
• Strategic Design: Develop architectural designs and technical proposals with full cost-benefit and budgetary analysis.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various business units to ensure all integrated solutions meet organizational standards.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical guide and mentor for junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Education: University Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Computer/Electronics) or an Information Technology Diploma.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of technical experience managing complex, enterprise-level network infrastructures.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center switches, ASA, Firepower firewalls, and Catalyst switches.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNP Certification is considered a significant asset.
• Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency with F5 (LTM/AFM), Cisco SD-WAN, VXLAN EVPN, and SASE (Netskope) is highly preferred.
• Industry Background: Prior experience with Telcos, network providers, or co-located data centers is beneficial.
• Availability: Willingness to participate in required on-call rotations and occasional overtime.
