You’ll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now (WFN), managing accounting entries, and supporting both forecasting and budgeting processes as they relate to payroll. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of accounting practices in relation to payroll are key for success in this role.

Responsibilities
•Process bi-weekly payroll for Canadian and US employees with a high degree of accuracy
•Manage payroll records, personnel files, and benefit administration
•Handle payroll tax submissions and compliance for multiple provinces and US states
•Reconcile payroll-related accounts, including general ledger entries
•Submit remittances for government deductions, benefits, garnishments, and retirement contributions
•Oversee group benefits and retirement plans (RRSP, DPSP, 401(k))
•Prepare and distribute tax forms and work-from-home documents
•Support audits and prepare necessary payroll documentation
•Generate reports and analytics for management, including salary and wage reconciliations
•Liaise with internal stakeholders and government agencies for payroll-related matters
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
•PCP designation an asset
•Minimum of 6 years’ experience managing full-cycle payroll, including US payroll
•Minimum of 4 years in account reconciliation and general ledger work
•At least 3 years managing employee benefits and group insurance plans
•Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required
•Strong knowledge of Canadian and US payroll regulations
•Ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
