Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Vision & Strategy: Defining the product vision and ensuring the product aligns with the organization’s overall strategy and goals. Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Requirements & Prioritization: Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Delivering MRDs (Market Requirements Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
- Product Management: Creating and maintaining a strategic product roadmap. Prioritizing features based on impact, value, and feasibility, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategy.
- Project Oversight: Managing multi-year, multi-million budget projects, including stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and scope control. Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Documentation & Compliance: Formulating business and technical requirements. Creating essential project documentation, including business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and Threat Risk Assessments (TRA).
- Mentorship & Team Development: Mentoring and collaborating with a junior Product Manager, providing guidance on best practices, and fostering team development and knowledge sharing.
- Agile & Tools: Managing project life cycles using collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps) and applying expertise in creating Agile methodology artifacts (roadmaps, epics, user stories).
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 6+ years of proven experience in product planning and lifecycle management.
- Skilled in defining and executing product vision and strategy.
- Proven ability to create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Experience delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
- Proficient in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multi-year, multi-million budget projects, including stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and scope control.
- Experience creating privacy, financial, communication, and IT documentation, including business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Threat Impact Assessments.
- Experience in creating Agile methodology artifacts such as roadmaps, release plans, epics/features/user stories.
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Experience with OPS project assessments (TRA, PIA) and financial analysis for multi-year projects.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, Kanban, and Azure DevOps.
