Responsibilities
Vision & Strategy: Articulate and champion the product vision and roadmap (now, near, and future) to ensure all stakeholders and team members are aligned on the "why" and "how."
Backlog Management: Prioritize features and functions within the product backlog, authoring user stories in collaboration with business owners to maintain a shared tactical focus.
Agile Leadership: Deliver products using a balanced team approach (UX designers, developers, and product owners) utilizing SCRUM methodologies.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risk events and issues before they occur, developing robust mitigation strategies to ensure product success.
Data-Driven Decisions: Establish and track measurable objectives (KPIs) through metrics dashboards to validate product direction and performance.
Stakeholder Management: Mediate between business teams and core team members, providing executive summaries and product status updates to senior management.
User Research: Conduct customer discovery and end-user research to uncover insights that inform product direction and de-risk the development of new features.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 10+ years of experience in product/project leadership, specifically managing high-profile, complex initiatives.
Relationship Management: Exceptional communication and mediation skills with a proven track record of building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Agile Expertise: Deep experience with SCRUM delivery methodologies; prior experience as a Scrum Master is highly preferred.
Tool Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of backlog management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Pivotal Tracker.
Technical Literacy: Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and collaboration tools like MIRO, Confluence, and Slack.
Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to translate complex business problems into value propositions and functional requirements.
Change Management: Experience overcoming resistance to change throughout all product stages—Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live.
