Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap (Now, Near, Future), ensuring the team understands the "why" behind the build.
Backlog & Prioritization: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, authoring user stories with the business product owner to ensure tactical design and development align with strategic goals.
Stakeholder Mediation: Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical core members to maintain momentum and ensure products progress according to the roadmap.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risk events proactively; prioritize and articulate issues at the senior executive level and recommend clear mitigation strategies.
Metrics & KPIs: Establish success criteria and maintain metrics dashboards to track product performance and ensure the team is moving in the right direction.
Agile Leadership: Lead a balanced team (UX designers, developers, and product owners) utilizing SCRUM delivery methodologies to ship software continuously.
Executive Communications: Develop executive summaries, success stories ("product wins"), and status updates for senior management and steering committees.
Qualifications
Relationship Management: Extensive experience in mediation, team building, and consensus-building within complex multi-stakeholder environments.
Product Lifecycle Mastery: Deep knowledge of delivery methodologies including Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live stages.
Agile Expertise: Proven ability to deliver products within a balanced team; Scrum Master experience is highly preferred.
Technical Ecosystems: Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and proficiency in backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Pivotal Tracker.
Collaboration Tools: Expert use of MIRO, Confluence, Trello, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to de-risk product direction based on validated customer research and business opportunities.
Soft Skills: Highly developed negotiation and presentation skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines for high-risk, complex initiatives.
