Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategic Roadmap: Define, maintain, and communicate a clear product vision, strategic objectives, and multi-year roadmaps that align with business goals and enterprise direction.
Stakeholder Engagement & Discovery: Lead product discovery workshops, stakeholder consultations, and executive briefings to build consensus across competing priorities and manage business relationships.
Agile Product Ownership & Delivery: Direct product backlog prioritization, break down business needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and partner with cross-functional Scrum teams throughout sprint planning, testing, and release cycles.
Architecture & Cloud Modernization: Collaborate with enterprise architects and technical leads to evaluate cloud-based solution options, leverage RESTful APIs and integration patterns, and modernize platforms using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dataverse.
Governance, Risk & Compliance: Author and maintain project governance artifacts—including Project Charters, Project Change Requests (PCRs), business cases, and status reports—while leading Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Threat Risk Assessments (TRA).
Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Establish product success metrics, monitor operational KPIs, gather user feedback, and drive continuous iterative product enhancements.
Qualifications
Product Management Seniority: 5+ years of product management or product ownership experience leading digital or IT transformation initiatives from strategy through delivery (Strictly Required).
Microsoft Cloud & Platform Knowledge: Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Dataverse, APIs, and enterprise integration architectures (Strictly Required).
Agile & Discovery Expertise: Demonstrated mastery in Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, backlog prioritization, product discovery, and authoring actionable user stories (Strictly Required).
Project Governance & Compliance: Hands-on experience authoring governance artifacts (Project Charters, business cases) and coordinating risk assessments like Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) or Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) (Strictly Required).
Stakeholder & Executive Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation capabilities (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or PMP certification.
Prior product management experience within a public sector or broader public sector environment.
Knowledge of public sector digital standards, privacy frameworks, and cybersecurity practices.
