Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for transitioning foundational assets (including laboratory and registry systems) to cloud-based platforms.
- Collaborate with cloud and hosting specialists to gather requirements and integrate business feedback into technical implementation plans.
- Proactively identify potential risk events and functional conflicts, developing mitigation strategies to ensure zero-disruption during system transitions.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and integrated plans, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business milestones.
- Produce high-quality project status reports, deployment tracking, and escalation materials for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate the execution of applicable contractual agreements and lead resource planning to support long-term migration goals.
- Maintain the project document repository, ensuring all architectural and procedural documents are reviewed and up to date.
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience managing electronic record-related projects, with a specific focus on software system migrations.
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience with cloud-based platform implementation initiatives (AWS or Azure preferred).
- 5–6 years of mastery in project management concepts, including scope management, work package scheduling, and quality management (PMP certification is highly desirable).
- 3–4 years of experience developing escalation materials and updates for executive-level audiences.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and the nuances of moving high-sensitivity data from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Familiarity with workflow analysis, business process redesign, and quality improvement within a large-scale enterprise setting.
- Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, with a proven ability to partner with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
