Responsibilities
- Artifact Management: Develop and manage critical project documents including charters, integrated project plans, agendas, minutes, and lessons learned.
- Financial Control: Apply project cost accounting principles to manage budgets, review financial health, and validate vendor invoicing.
- Risk & Issue Tracking: Proactively identify, track, and follow up on team commitments, risks, and issues within the project logs.
- Change Management: Prepare and track technical Requests for Change (RFCs) and Project Change Requests (PCRs) related to scope, schedule, or budget adjustments.
- Operational Support: Manage the project onboarding/offboarding process, grant vendor access to tools, and ensure the project document repository (MS Teams/SharePoint) is meticulously maintained.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Lead and control meetings, keeping discussions focused on goals, and build strong relationships with internal business units and external partners.
- Delivery Excellence: Support the creation of detailed work streams by engaging subject matter experts and suggesting performance improvement strategies to the Senior PM.
Qualifications
- Education: College diploma or university degree in a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of project coordination or PCO experience specifically within an IT Organization.
- Financial Acumen: 3–5 years of demonstrated knowledge in project cost accounting and budget management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Teams) and project management software such as MS Project or Planview.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to facilitate conflict resolution and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Organizational Mastery: Strong multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to support multiple project managers concurrently.
- Sector Knowledge: (Asset) Experience within the Public Sector or Healthcare IT environments.
