Responsibilities
The Senior Project Control Officer will be responsible for:
- Strategy Development: Creating high-quality communication strategies and plans, including key messaging, for programs and services within the digital health project.
- Content Creation & Editing: Acting as a strong writer and editor in preparing engaging content for a wide variety of target audiences and communications vehicles. This includes drafting web and newsletter articles, FAQs, information packages, pitch decks, memos, and briefing notes.
- Content Translation: Possessing the skill to translate complex or technical content into clear, purposeful content that highlights key information and achieves business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Possessing strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement planning and utilizing high Emotional Intelligence (EQ), confidence, and critical thinking to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Workflow Management: Managing communications-specific workflows and delivering multiple communications initiatives effectively and on time.
- Liaison & Governance: Liaising with portfolio partners (web team, design team, translations services) to ensure all communications products follow best practices and adhere to the organizational style guide.
- Project Support: Attending project meetings to gather/provide updates, identify risks, and lead communications deliverables.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of communications or related work experience developing communication plans for corporate projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years experience working in project teams to deliver on communications plans and strategies.
- 5+ years experience Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement planning.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations/marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including high EQ, confidence, and critical thinking, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a large-scale organization.
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Experience working in a health care organization and/or with digital health solutions.
- Strong storytelling experience and aligning strategies to the overall corporate narrative.
- Experience writing and editing skills within the field of health care or the public sector.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
