Responsibilities
•Lead the planning and execution of the Business Stream for a province-wide Clinical Information System (CIS).
•Coordinate with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders to ensure alignment across all workstreams.
•Manage interdependencies across six domains: financial systems integration, digital asset optimization, privacy and compliance, business intelligence, business continuity, and new operating model development.
•Establish and oversee governance, project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management frameworks.
•Apply project management rigor to ensure delivery against organizational goals, compliance, and value-for-money principles.
•Deliver key project phases including strategy and prioritization, detailed planning, execution, and reporting of outcomes, risks, and lessons learned.
•Ensure adoption of standardized processes, modern technology, and integrated information systems.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in senior project management with CIS implementations.
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in digital health planning, IT system planning, back-office structuring, and managing business-healthcare transformations.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership or high-level advisory role for multi-site, multi-year health IT or large-scale business transformation projects.
•Proven success managing two or more complex, large-scale, multi-year health IT or business transformation projects.
•5+ years of healthcare systems experience, including CIS projects and provincial digital health assets.
•5+ years of stakeholder engagement and communication experience with executives, clinicians, technical SMEs, and administrators.
•5+ years of business and financial acumen, including financial systems integration, budget oversight, and total cost of ownership modeling.
•3+ years of privacy, compliance, and risk management experience, including knowledge of government regulatory requirements.
•3+ years of experience in change management, business continuity, operational modeling, and sustainability strategies.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (asset)
