This initiative includes enhancing the online application process, implementing secure data exchange with educational institutions, supporting historical data migration, and introducing robust administrative tools such as reporting, surveys, and troubleshooting mechanisms. Working closely with business and technical teams, the Senior Project Manager will plan and execute all phases of the project lifecycle, conduct Agile ceremonies, manage risks and timelines, and deliver regular updates to stakeholders and steering committees. Responsibilities
•Lead detailed project planning and execution across all phases, including development activities, scheduling, and sprint organization.
•Monitor and control project progress through regular status reports, dashboards, budget tracking, and risk/issue management.
•Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
•Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather and document clear, actionable requirements and user stories.

•Organize tasks into development-ready user stories with a clear definition of "done" for each.

•Ensure compliance with the SNB Project Delivery Framework and complete all project documentation, including closure reports and logs.
•Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that all components of the student financial services modernization project are delivered on time and to specification.
Qualifications
•University degree or college diploma in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management).
•PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
•Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is considered a strong asset.
•Minimum 7–10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
•Proven experience managing Agile projects and leading Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
•Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and reporting.
•Experience working within structured project delivery frameworks, preferably in the public sector.
•Experience leading modernization or digital transformation projects, especially involving online portals, data migration, and automation.
•Knowledge of student financial aid systems or public service delivery platforms is an asset.
•Familiarity with data validation, secure information exchange, and web application development processes.
•Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
•Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams and influence decision-making.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
