Responsibilities
•Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of the Personal Health Number (PHN) initiative.
•Manage internal and external project resources and vendor coordination.
•Maintain project documentation, status reports, and meeting minutes.
•Prepare and present updates to Steering Committees and other stakeholders.
•Track project budget, resources, and timelines.
•Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues.
•Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
•Support change management activities, including adoption strategies and communications.
•Develop operational frameworks to ensure smooth transition from project to operations.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications
•University bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Minimum 10 years recent experience as a Senior Project Manager.
•Minimum 10 years recent experience in digital health / eHealth projects in a Canadian jurisdiction.
•Minimum 12 years IM/IT experience.
•Minimum 5 years experience managing projects affecting Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) and master data management.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
•Ability to travel within New Brunswick for face-to-face meetings.
•Limit vendor submissions to 2.
Desirable Skills / Experience
•5+ years managing technology projects within eHealth/digital health, preferably in Canada.
•5+ years of strong communication planning, coordination, and presentation skills for internal, external, and executive stakeholders.
•10+ years establishing and supporting project governance for effective oversight and decision-making.
•5+ years managing large, complex projects across multiple business units, with extended duration (>1 year) and 15+ direct participants, involving business transformation and technical issues.
•10+ years experience in project monitoring, control, and execution, including planning, scheduling, reporting, quality management, issue/risk management, change control, implementation, and transition to operations.
•10+ years experience managing teams of specialists on IT projects.
•10+ years experience in vendor and contract governance to achieve project outcomes.
•Familiarity with data security and client privacy in relation to NB’s Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act (PHIPAA).
•Recognized Project Management certification (please specify certification and renewal date, if applicable).
