As the Senior Project Manager, you will be fully accountable for your assigned projects, driving success in budget, schedule, and overall customer satisfaction. You will ensure that company resources are effectively deployed for satisfactory contract execution.
This is a senior-level role requiring significant autonomy. You will lead projects with influence, independently maintaining control over all financial and scheduling aspects, while also serving as a mentor and coach to foster continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities
Lead diverse and complex project teams (sometimes exceeding 15 members) toward successful contract execution.
Provide effective leadership, clearly communicating expectations and instilling a culture of accountability.
Own and maintain the comprehensive project schedule and risk register.
Ensure accurate and timely publication of all contract-defined project reports.
Implement proactive and corrective actions based on performance metrics to mitigate risks and maximize mutual success.
Define and clarify complex project roles within intricate organizational structures.
Manage, predict, and react to changes that may affect contract execution using formal change management procedures.
Lead the organization of complex proposals and support planning for contract submissions and changes.
Support sub-contracting efforts, ensuring effective sub-vendor management is integrated into the project plan.
Strive for mutual success with the client by balancing expectations and seeking to independently resolve issues.
Identify, communicate, monitor, mitigate, and avoid risks throughout contract execution.
Ensure contract execution adheres to organizational governance and departmental procedures.
Support continuous improvement of departmental governance, procedures, tools, and best practices.
Assist Accounts Receivable in ensuring the timely receipt of client payments.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a suitable related field from an accredited university.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of related professional experience.
Project Management Mastery: Proven mastery of core project management fundamentals, including scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), budget controls, and change management.
Contract Management: Demonstrable understanding of complex contract management.
Data Analysis: Proven mastery in organizing, analyzing, and presenting large and diverse data sets.
Client Management: Demonstrated comfort and experience regarding complex and difficult client management, with a strong commitment to client relationships.
20 years of related industry experience.
10 years of project management experience in a project-based organization.
Prior experience in the nuclear energy production industry.
High level of competency with Oracle Primavera P6.
High level of competency with Microsoft Excel.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
