Responsibilities
- Lead all project management activities including scope, detailed scheduling (WBS), budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Manage the delivery of technology roadmaps focused on specialized scheduling tools and digital operational management platforms.
- Oversee diverse teams consisting of technology experts, business stakeholders, and multiple large-scale vendors concurrently.
- Support leadership with bottom-up estimates, financial forecasting, actuals tracking, and cost management.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project stability.
- Provide regular performance reporting and participate in portfolio reviews and gating activities in accordance with established frameworks.
- Support production operations, resolve system issues, and coordinate user training during transition phases.
Qualifications
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI is mandatory.
- 15+ years of experience managing technology components within major, complex infrastructure projects.
- Post-secondary education in a related technical or business discipline.
- Proven track record of delivering at least five multi-year, highly complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced expertise in MS Project/POL, SharePoint, and the MS Office Suite.
- Deep knowledge of resource allocation, work scheduling, and managing multiple vendors simultaneously.
- Sound knowledge of business administration, financial management, and applicable safety or human rights legislation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and maintain stakeholder alignment.
