Responsibilities
- Act as the Senior Program Lead for security initiatives, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Gather and develop requirements, and work with stakeholders to create and maintain project schedules and integrated plans.
- Define and validate information security architecture for DLP solutions, data classification, and database monitoring.
- Lead workshops to capture business and security requirements and threat models.
- Develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, and risk registers.
- Oversee vendor engagements and integrations with security tools like SIEM (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and SOAR.
- Chair steering committees and architecture review boards, providing regular status updates to executives.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project and security risks, escalating issues with recommended controls.
- Ensure day-2 supportability by coordinating knowledge transfer, runbooks, and operational handover.
- Champion security and project management best practices, driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale IT modernization and cybersecurity programs that protect Critical Value Assets (CVAs).
- Expertise in Data Protection and Information Security.
- Experience in a senior leadership role within the cybersecurity domain.
- A strong understanding of Critical Value Assets (CVAs).
Experience & Skills:
- Advanced experience managing enterprise-scale IT modernization and cybersecurity projects.
- Deep expertise in information security domains, including DLP design, database activity monitoring (IBM Guardium), encryption, and key management.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK) and experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with security operations tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR) and governance frameworks (ISO 27001, FIPPA/PHIPA).
- Experience with government or regulatory mandates.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
