Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager/Leader will be responsible for:
- Project Leadership & Planning: Providing project management leadership on large scale, complex, high profile, and high-risk Health Human Resources (HHR) projects. Gathering and developing requirements to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Managing stakeholder relationships. Developing and presenting material both internally and to external stakeholders on HHR programs, using excellent written, verbal, and graphical communications skills.
- Program Operations: Overseeing operational tasks and workflow for assigned health workforce projects and initiatives. Supporting the effective launch and implementation of HHR incentive programs (establishing application, communication, and intake processes).
- Problem Solving & Strategy: Demonstrating exceptional tactical and critical strategic thinking to keep projects effective and impactful when faced with changing circumstances. Working closely with high-level internal and external stakeholders to problem solve and negotiate to meet needs and demands.
- Client Engagement: Communicating directly with external stakeholders about project participation, advising on guidelines and eligibility criteria, and ensuring a smooth stakeholder experience.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate people with a variety of skill sets and work collaboratively toward a shared goal.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 7+ years experience provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk projects.
- 7+ years experience managing projects in a leadership role.
- 7+ years experience Managing stakeholder relationship.
- 7+ years experience in non-profit, healthcare, and/or government sector (Public Sector Experience is Mandatory).
- Master’s degree preferred or Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (health, social sciences, political sciences, or another relevant field) or equivalent education/experience.
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce (or similar) CRM System (10% of score).
- PMP certification is strongly preferred (20% of score).
- Experience working in a health human resources-related role, including understanding of both health professional and healthcare organizational perspectives (20% of score).
- Broad knowledge of the Client system and the various stakeholders and actors.
