Responsibilities
- Network Service Migration: Plan and execute the transition of clients to new enterprise-scale products, including SD-WAN, high-speed broadband, and voice-over-IP (VoIP) solutions.
- Service Design & Modernization: Lead the rationalization and modernization of telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring service designs meet evolving enterprise requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for heavy client engagement, coordinating with various departments and clusters to ensure seamless service transitions.
- Vendor Management: Oversee external vendor partners to ensure deliverables are met and technical interdependencies are addressed during complex migrations.
- Project Governance: Create and manage project charters, integrated plans, and governance models. Proactively track risks, issues, and project financials.
- Executive Briefing: Develop high-level briefing materials and provide strategic advice to program leads and executives on problem management and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Migration & Transformation Expertise: Extensive experience leading enterprise-level technology transformations and user migrations, specifically within large-scale public sector telecommunications environments.
- Network Domain Knowledge: Proven ability to plan and execute migrations for Voice, Network, SD-WAN, and Broadband services.
- Project Management Mastery: Deep experience with formal PM methodologies, including the development of integrated plans, financial reporting, and issue/risk management for complex IT projects.
- Communication & Political Acuity: Superior skills in negotiation and stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate sensitive organizational landscapes and gain support for project deliverables.
- Legacy Knowledge: Prior experience working with large-scale governmental networks and understanding their specific architectural constraints.
