Responsibilities
- Network Service Migration: Lead the planning and execution of large-scale transitions from legacy telecommunications to modern solutions, including SD-WAN and broadband internet services.
- Service Design & Modernization: Support the rationalization and design of I&IT services, focusing on infrastructure optimization and the transition of network services.
- Executive Governance: Develop project charters, integrated project plans, and governance models. Create high-level briefing materials to advise executives on program status and strategic direction.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Manage heavy client engagement with various clusters and internal business units to facilitate service migrations and manage expectations.
- Vendor & Financial Management: Coordinate with external vendor partners, manage project financials, and ensure that contractual obligations and technical interdependencies are addressed.
- Risk & Problem Management: Proactively track issues and risks, utilizing political acuity and tact to advise program leads on complex problem management and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in large-scale voice, network, and SD-WAN migrations.
- Deep knowledge of I&IT service design, modernization, and infrastructure rationalization.
- Expert understanding of migration methodologies and vendor interdependencies.
- Extensive experience leading complex, enterprise-level technology implementations and transformations.
- Proficiency in project management tools for creating integrated plans, risk logs, and financial reports.
- Experience in workspace modernization and large-scale user migrations.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to obtain support from key stakeholders on project deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience in executive-level reporting and advising.
- Ability to navigate sensitive organizational environments with tact.
