Responsibilities
- Enterprise Transformation Leadership: Direct all aspects of large-scale IT projects, including critical path identification, business transformation, and organizational change management.
- Project Governance & Planning: Define project scope, estimate resource requirements, and manage complex project schedules using enterprise-standard project management and document management tools.
- Agile & Scrum Delivery: Lead technical teams in an Agile environment to facilitate iterative development and rapid solution deployment.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify technical and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely decision-making to maintain project momentum.
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Lead large technology procurements, including contract negotiations and managing vendor service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Executive Communication: Deliver high-impact presentations and status reports to multiple streams of Executive and Senior Management, bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
- Data & Infrastructure Oversight: Manage projects focused on data transformation/migration and the implementation of robust infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications
- Professional Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a strong asset.
- Senior Experience (10+ years): Extensive track record managing transformational enterprise IT projects in complex, multi-divisional environments.
- Methodology Expertise: Deep mastery of Agile methodologies and matrix project management.
- Technical Literacy: Post-secondary education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Procurement Skills: Considerable experience in procurement procedures, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or equivalent integrated project schedule and document management tools.
