Responsibilities
- Lead organizational and strategy development, including business planning and formal funding requests.
- Direct the sourcing, selection, and onboarding of multidisciplinary teams. Lead the development and management of Request for Bids (RFB) and maintain robust vendor relationships to ensure contract compliance.
- Manage large-scale data migration activities, specifically transitioning legacy data to modernized cloud-based environments.
- Establish and facilitate steering committees and stakeholder forums. Provide high-level portfolio reporting and present complex business cases to executive decision-makers.
- Manage complex project budgets across multiple funding channels. Ensure a high level of fiscal control, including accurate forecasting, reconciliation, and confirmation of actuals.
- Proactively identify risk events and develop mitigation strategies. Prioritize and articulate issues at the senior executive level to facilitate rapid decision-making.
- Implement strategies to overcome resistance to change and ensure organizational readiness during deployment and transition phases.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing high-profile, complex IT initiatives in a matrix environment.
- Proven track record in leading RFB processes and managing third-party fee-for-service (FFS) consultants and unionized staff.
- Demonstrated success in delivering cloud-based solutions and managing the technical complexities of data migrations.
- Superior skills in executive-level communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in MS DevOps and MS Teams for project tracking and collaboration.
- Understanding of Information Management principles and accessibility standards (e.g., AODA).
