Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Leader for a 12 month contract in Toronto.

Rate: $609.86 - $644.49

Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Team Leadership
• Serve as Scrum Master for multiple concurrent, high visibility agile projects.
• Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement).
• Ensure teams adopt and adhere to Agile values, principles, and best practices.
• Remove impediments proactively and escalate complex blockers appropriately.
• Track and report team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, etc.).
Coaching & Continuous Improvement
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and process optimization.
• Coach teams in definition of ready (DoR) and definition of done (DoD).
• Support team maturity assessments and develop tailored improvement plans.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure clear product vision, roadmap alignment, and well-prioritized backlogs.
• Facilitate communication across technical and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Support executive-level reporting and provide insights into delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Manage expectations and negotiate priorities in fast-paced, multi-team environments.
Governance, Risk Management & Compliance
• Ensure Agile delivery practices align with OPS governance frameworks, digital standards, and enterprise processes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, interdependencies, and delivery constraints.
• Contribute to project documentation, reporting, and audit compliance requirements as needed.
Qualifications
Must Have:
• The HM is looking for a strong Project Manager with strong scrum/agile experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).
