Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Leader for a 5 month contract in Toronto.
This is an onsite role.
Rate: $609.86 - $644.49

Responsibilities
· Plan and lead project(s) as part of large multi-year initiatives involving complex network architecture, advanced and innovative telecommunications/video/Video over I/P (VoIP), and audio/visual systems
· Manage client relationships/networks as well as partnerships with business areas
· Manage project teams and provide guidance on the use of audio visual and information technology in client business planning and business improvement initiatives
· Develop project charters and master project plans, guide the definition of goals, deliverables and scope working with internal clients and stakeholders, I&IT specialists, business planners to ensure larity, accuracy and acceptance
· Identify and assess risks, and recommend mitigation measures for approval
· Provide leadership to project teams, external service providers and contractors
· Identify impact of change, escalate to project sponsor for decision, revise work plans, schedule, and project budget to implement approved changes
· Provide specialized advice and expertise to client groups and for the development of business cases and Treasury Board / Management Board of Cabinet submissions.
· Coordinate I&IT procurement to acquire and negotiate goods and services and administer contractual agreements.
Qualifications
MUST HAVES:
• 7 years experience working in a senior leadership/director on technology projects for the Ontario Government/ Federal Government / Broader Public Sector.
• Demonstrated enhanced communication skills that support the translation of technical information to support delivery of executive presentations, briefing notes, and synthesis of key major project and operational issues.
• Direct business leadership experience in the use of, supporting policies and technical knowledge of radio and/or telecommunications systems in a public safety environment.
