Act as the senior program lead accountable for the enterprise network-security and secure-access portfolio.
Provide strategic leadership and governance across multiple cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, security objectives, and enterprise architecture standards.
Drive adoption of Zero Trust and Security-by-Design principles across all network and cloud security initiatives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, enterprise architects, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.
Chair governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder working groups.
Provide executive-level reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, financials, milestones, and outcomes.
Champion project-management, cybersecurity, and operational best practices while leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Advanced Network/Security Program Delivery
Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale network-security initiatives, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
Direct strategic deployments including Secure Service Edge (SSE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Prisma Access, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Next-Generation Firewalls, and cloud-security integrations.
Gather business, operational, and technical requirements and translate them into integrated project plans and delivery roadmaps.
Develop and manage detailed schedules, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, dependency tracking, and change-control processes.
Coordinate cross-functional delivery activities involving architecture, security engineering, cloud services, network operations, and external vendors.
Ensure successful transition to operations, including documentation, knowledge transfer, operational readiness, support processes, and service monitoring.
Project Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
Manage project governance, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and project reporting across concurrent initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, requirements gathering, risk reviews, and decision-making forums.
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and performance expectations across project teams and vendors.
Communicate complex technical and project information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups while managing competing priorities and organizational challenges.
Promote adoption of change-management practices and support business readiness activities.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Technical Capabilities
Professional Experience: 10+ years of senior-level experience leading enterprise-scale IT modernization and cybersecurity programs in complex environments.
Cybersecurity & Network Architecture Depth: Advanced understanding of enterprise security architectures, network security controls, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Service Edge (SSE), Prisma Access, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and cloud security integration.
Governance & Project Methodologies: Strong knowledge of PMBOK methodologies, project delivery frameworks, governance processes, and driving initiatives using both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Program Delivery Leadership: Proven track record managing complex security transformation programs from initiation through implementation, operational readiness, and transition to support.
Risk & Vendor Management: Exceptional capabilities in schedule management, risk and issue mitigation, technical dependency tracking, financial oversight, and vendor engagement.
Preferred Assets & Soft Skills
Public Sector Awareness: Previous experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives within public sector or regulated environments is considered a strong asset.
