Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans on multiple projects concurrently, documenting results and identifying root causes in collaboration with teammates.
- Identify and automate critical and repetitive test scenarios, and manage their ongoing execution and maintenance.
- Collaborate and lead in triaging and resolving bugs in a timely manner, promoting a culture of quality within your production teams.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of project objectives, use cases, and customer context to ensure testability and quality.
- Develop strategies for continuous improvement of software quality, including manual and automated testing, and performance and load testing frameworks.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and that delivered solutions are coherent, consistent, and complete.
- Contribute to project functions by attending standups and planning meetings, and identifying and resolving issues.
- Mentor new team members and support QA leads as needed.
- Understand highly technical product features in detail to effectively plan for testing and other quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software testing.
- 3-5 years of experience with automated testing tools, specifically Postman for API testing.
- Experience in REST API and Web application testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and interact with diverse stakeholders and clients.
- Demonstrated knowledge and judgment in escalating issues when necessary.
- A bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in electronic health records or systems integration projects is an asset.
