Responsibilities
• Human-Centered Integration: Embed UX and service design methods into the lifecycle of data product development.
• User Research & Prototyping: Plan and execute behavioral field research, co-design workshops, and usability testing.
• Service Mapping: Develop comprehensive journey maps, service blueprints, and end-to-end process maps for data/analytics products.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead co-design sessions with everyone from front-line staff to executives to drive change management.
• Strategic Planning: Create product roadmaps, service performance metrics, and strategy documents for data pipelines and interfaces.
• Technical Synthesis: Translate user needs into technical documentation, user stories, and functional prototypes.
Qualifications
•Direct Experience: Minimum 6 years creating journey maps, service blueprints, and leading co-design workshops.
•Methodology Expertise: At least 5 years of professional experience using human-centered design (UX, CX, or Interaction Design).
•Technical Literacy: 5 years working specifically with data products (data pipelines, catalogues, architecture, or user interfaces).
•Proven Track Record: 5 years as a Service Designer on large-scale digital transformation or service innovation projects.
•Strategic Insight: Demonstrated ability to shift focus between granular details and holistic system relationships.
•Analytical Skills: Experience in service performance measurement and ethnographic field research.
•Requirements: A personal portfolio of work samples (with annotations) is mandatory for this application.
•Clearances: Ability to provide a Criminal Record Check and Enhanced Security Clearance upon request.
