Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the migration of documents, sites, libraries, and workflows from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
- Transition legacy structures into modern SharePoint architectures, including hub sites, communication sites, and metadata-driven navigation.
- Replace InfoPath forms with custom SPFx-based forms using React, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks to ensure responsiveness and accessibility.
- Configure site collections for peak performance, manage permissions, and implement data retention policies in line with governance standards.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop knowledge transfer documentation for administrators and end-users.
- Partner with business units to gather requirements and advise on adoption strategies to ensure a seamless transition to the cloud.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or university degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and proven experience migrating from SharePoint 2016.
- Strong hands-on experience with SPFx, React, and TypeScript, specifically in redeveloping legacy InfoPath forms.
- Demonstrated ability to migrate complex InfoPath forms and workflows to modern Power Platform or SPFx alternatives.
- Advanced skills in debugging, performance tuning, and utilizing Microsoft Graph or REST APIs for integrations.
- Familiarity with M365 compliance, including DLP, auditing, and retention policies.
- Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure) and experience with Power Apps/Power Automate.
