Responsibilities

GIS Platform & Workflow Development: Build and deploy custom GIS viewers and workflow tools using VertiGIS Studio (Web and Workflow), Geocortex Essentials, and ESRI Experience Builder / Web AppBuilder.
REST API & Service Integration: Consume and integrate spatial data services utilizing ArcGIS REST APIs, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Portal environments.
Modern Web Coding & Scripting: Write clean, modular code using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, while integrating modern front-end frameworks like React.
Accessibility Compliance: Design and code intuitive front-end web components that comply with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 Level AA / AODA requirements).
Technical Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: Translate business specifications into working application code, conduct unit testing, debug front-end defects, and provide technical post-implementation support.
Qualifications
Web Mapping SDK Customization: Proven experience customizing mapping applications using VertiGIS Studio Web SDK, Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 SDK, or ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (Strictly Required).
Front-End & Web Technologies: Hands-on expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and responsive web design frameworks (Strictly Required).
ESRI Application Builders: Proficiency with ESRI-based application builders including VertiGIS Studio (Web/Workflow), Geocortex Essentials, or ESRI Experience Builder (Strictly Required).
GIS Services Integration: Demonstrated experience consuming and interpreting GIS web services via ArcGIS REST API, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Portal (Strictly Required).
