Responsibilities
Integration & API Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integration flows, REST APIs, and reusable integration services using Enterprise Java, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, and modern data transformation technologies (JSON/XML).
Cloud & Containerization: Deploy, manage, and scale microservices and containerized application architectures using OpenShift and Kubernetes, leveraging AWS cloud services (Lambda, SQS, S3) where applicable.
Architecture & Technical Design: Map complex data flows, design scalable data schemas/ER diagrams, and apply fault-tolerant patterns (retries, dead-letter queues, monitoring) to ensure data consistency and system reliability.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Translation: Act as a technical bridge between business and inter-divisional technical teams to analyze requirements, evaluate feasible solutions, and produce clear technical/architectural documentation.
Quality Assurance & Standards: Develop test plans and test scenarios, track/resolve defect issues, and ensure all application designs comply with security, privacy, and regulatory governance standards.
Qualifications
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Enterprise Integration: Advanced expertise with Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Enterprise Java, REST APIs, and data transformation formats (JSON/XML). Strong hands-on experience with API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
Cloud & Platforms: Proven experience deploying containerized applications using OpenShift or Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3) is considered a strong asset.
Data & Reliability: Proficiency in SQL, relational database design, data modeling, and fault-tolerant patterns (DLQs, automated retries, monitoring).
DevOps & Practices: Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, automated testing frameworks, and modern DevOps methodologies.
Ecosystem Experience: Demonstrated background integrating multi-system enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, asset management, training/document management systems).
Industry Experience: Prior experience delivering solutions in the Public Sector is preferred.
